Being a terrorist in any of Tom Clancy's semi-fictional universes must be a tough row to hoe.  You simply can't get through a day of kidnapping, sabotaging, or general terrorizing without having to deal with some kind of crack squad of special force graduates just aching to introduce your body to a more lead-based environment.  You'd think the world's governments would eventually let up a little, but no, it keeps happening.  Worse yet, it just got a little more difficult for our guerrilla friends thanks to the new Rainbow 6 Siege Starter Edition.

At its best, Homefront: The Revolution is an average first-person shooter with some interesting game mechanics. Far too often, however, the game is at its worst; a buggy mess whose mechanics are clunky and are at odds with the way you want to play the game....

While it initially slipped under our radar when it was first revealed this past March, Kirby: Planet Robobot will be available this Friday, June 10, and features a rather neat co-op mode. Up to four players can work together to bring down bosses in a mode that combines the series' "inhale and copy" mechanics with an RPG.

Overwatch came out early last month and was an instant hit for Blizzard. Combining colorful and fun to play characters with Team Fortress 2 style objective gameplay in a 5 vs 5 team setting instantly hooked players. For folks not wanting to jump into the competitive options, Blizzard created a dedicated co-op mode against the AI. It's basically comp-stomp co-op but it's a good way to practice playing characters.

Here is a quick tip for anyone out there who fears we might have tumbled into a dystopian Cyberpunk future while everybody was asleep: is any part of your attire glowing? If you answered "no" to this question, congratulations! The world might still frighten the pants off of you, but at least you aren't destined for a life of horrible drudgery in the Conception Machine. If "yes," then you'd better start brushing up on your E-Brain Hacking skills; they'll come in handy! Oh, and warn your friends to watch out for the Synapse Cops.

As I search high and low for news on the co-op front, it becomes pretty apparent that originality is at an absolute premium.  Just about every beloved 90's franchise has now been rebooted, and I'm pretty sure that releasing another twin-stick zombie shooter is the final key to bringing about the actual End Times.  Filthy Lucre, then, feels like a breath of fresh air.
