Howdy!  The Co-opticrew is pretty scattered this weekend in terms of gaming, but that's nothing new, because we're each individual humans!  We certainly aren't clones grown in a lab by a mad co-op obsessed doctor and then raised in a compound for 14 years with a Double Dragon arcade cabinet as our only form of entertainment.  And we definitely aren't kept in a warehouse outside of Des Moines, Idaho and forced to report on the latest in co-op games with a 1' by 1' window as our only source of natural light.  That would be crazy!

Be ye rat exterminators, loot fetishists, or rat... looters, come hither and rejoice!  The first DLC pack for Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, "Sigmar's Blessing", is now available for your consumption.  Not only that, but you don't even have to spend a single one of your hard-earned crowns to access it.  The developers, Fatshark, have stated previously that their post-release plans revolve around alternating packs of free and paid DLC, so it's nice to see that they're trying to start off on the right foot.

The idea of “microtransactions” has become so anathema to some within the video gaming community that merely speaking it in relation to a game will lead to outright dismissal of that title or campaigns to try and tank its sales via negative reviews. We all know how much it sucks to be left out.  One day, you think you're the school's best kickballer, and the next, you're getting picked after the kid that assumes the fetal position whenever the ball rolls toward them.  The two player co-op title, Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, manifests this feeling (among many others) into a hard-as-nails roguelike shooter.  Unfortunately, that manifestation may make its way to the real world soon enough, as owners of the Wii U, 3DS, and Vita versions seem unlikely to receive the latest DLC, "Afterbirth".

Just when you thought you were done with the adrenaline and high-five fueled action game that is BROFORCE, a new update arrived last week that added two new bros to the roster along with a few new items.

"Comic books" have been pretty popping in the last few years. Every new TV show or major movie franchise of late seems to have some basis in a long-standing comic book franchise, from Marvel building their massive Movieverse to DC's decade-long plan for films and TV shows. But what about video games? Aside from the Batman games and some (admittedly solid) LEGO titles, comic-verse fans have had little more than mobile games to sink their teeth into.

December 2015 may mean another Christmas is on the way, but something much rarer is also happening, a new Star Wars film (and hopefully one that is not rubbish).  To celebrate, Disney Infinity 3.0 is releasing a Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set to coincide with the film.  A new trailer gives fans a taste for the expansion.

You ever wonder what the holiday season is like in Minecraft-world?  Do the villagers and zombies set aside their differences and enjoy a piping hot mug of cocoa?  What about the Ender Dragon?  You think it gets lonely up there in its dream-fortress and just watches all the Christmas episodes of "M.A.S.H." on repeat for an entire month?  Who's to say what happens to all the AI-controlled inhabitants of that world, but thanks to the new "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition Holiday Pack", maybe you and seven pals can start creating your own holiday traditions.

Sure, any fool can snatch an AK-47 and headshot an entire football stadium's worth of ZEDs in Killing Floor 2, but one word is enough to bring any clone-hunter to their knees: Patriarch. Yes, even the most stalwart Killer of Floors starts sobbing up a storm when they hear the big bad daddy of all zombie/clones tromping down the hall. KF2 initially launched with his spindly German buddy as a primary antagonist, who was not the rocket-launcher toting bullet sponge of his predecessor.

Developer Tripwire Interactive announced last week that Killing Floor 2 will include microtransactions via a special in-game store called "The Trading Floor." While playing through a match, players may find an encrypted crate or USB stick that contains a new weapon skin or other cosmetic item. By heading over to the Trading Floor, players can purchase a decryption key that will decrypt these items and relinquish their contents unto you.

Last month, Overkill kicked off their big Crimefest 2015 event with the introduction of a new feature for PAYDAY 2: microtransactions. The reaction to this was... not great. A few weeks went by with not much of a response from Overkill, and then Update 90 arrived and added more fuel to the fire. Now, the development team has come forward to apologize.

In the States, the end of November marks the occasion for two things: the consumption of way too much food, and SALES SALES SALES! There are some choice Cyber Monday deals underway right now, but Microsoft offered up a few deals of their own on the digital versions of games like Destiny, Evolve, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime last week, and today is the last day you can enjoy them.
