Hundreds of zombies were harmed in the making of episode 12

Watch F.A.L.C.O. Decapitate Zombies In Dead Island Riptide

Many people seem to think that zombies are over-used in games these days, that somehow there are too many zombie games. Nonsense, I say! There are few things more satisfying than slicing off zombie limbs, kicking them to the ground, and smashing their skulls in with my hooker boots. What? A girl's gotta look hot while killing zombies. You got a problem with that?

Rats off to ya!

Vermintide Celebrates 300,000 Copies Sold With First DLC Pack

A thorough congratulation is in order for those involved with Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide; 300,000 copies sold is no small feat!  The Warhammer Fantasy universe may be coming to a horrifying end, but at least it's going out with a bang, and to celebrate, the folks over at Fatshark have released plans for their first (hopefully of many) DLC offering: "Sigmar's Blessing".

PC Gaming...IN YOUR LIVING ROOM

Alienware Steam Machine and Steam Controller Review

As a life-long PC gamer, the concept of a Steam Machine to me seems unessential. But in talking to someone who’s been a traditional console gamer, the appeal becomes a little more clear. It's a gateway that breaks down a traditional high barrier of entry. It provides a simple solution to access a library of thousands of PC titles with minimal knowledge of hardware and software.  A Steam Machine can be manufactured by anyone, in fact, you could technically build your own. Today we’re going to look at an offering from Alienware.

Next Diablo 3 Patch Reveals New Area

Here we are, three and a half years after its initial release, and Diablo 3 is still going strong. Just prior to all the excitement that was BlizzCon 2015, some patch notes hit the Diablo website for what's in store for patch version 2.4. One of the bigger items on the list is a new area, Greyhollow Island, that will be accessible in Adventure Mode.

Funding your own demise.

Jason Lives! Friday the 13th Kickstarter Successfully Funded

Last February, we heard the rumblings of a new game based off of legendary villain/slasher Jason Voorhees. The game featured you and your terrified camp counselor cohorts co-operatively fleeing from Jason as he stalks around the "semi-open world" of Crystal Lake, brutally dismembering anyone he meets. The game was originally slated for a near Halloween release of this year. But, as it turns out, making a slasher co-op game takes a little bit more money and time than originally assumed. You just can't kill Jason, however, and the Friday the 13th Kickstarter met its goal a mere few hours ago.

Let's hope Zombies never make it to the Citadel.

Garden Warfare 2 Steals Mass Effect Tech In "Grass Effect"

In the vast litany of video game history, zombies have wielded weapons both real and fictional. The brainless undead hordes from Dark Souls stagger around with enormous swords. Some jerk (Hitler) decked out an army of zombies with SS uniforms and tommy guns in Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombies. The most recent Call of Duty game even had them loaded with crazy future tech. But now, with Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, those infernal undead can finally unleash the power of the bipedal mech.
