505 Games is partnering up with Psyonix to bring the developer's popular cars playing soccer sim Rocket League to retail. This version of the game, dubbed Rocket League: Collector's Edition, will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only, and is set to include the main game as well as all three paid DLC packs that have been released thus far: "Supersonic Fury," "Revenge of the Battle-Cars," and "Chaos Run." There is also the promise of "retail-exclusive bonuses" that this version of the game will include, though details of what those may be have not been revealed.

The co-op adventure Knights and Bikes, which is inspired by titles like The Goonies and Earthbound, has finally reached its funding goal of $142,577. This means that the game will definitely be coming out on PC, Mac, and Linux (via Steam), in addition to the previously announced PlayStation 4 version. As the campaign is getting close to the end, a very important stretch goal is in sight: online co-op.

The folks from Perfect World Entertainment have put out a trailer for their three player co-op shooter called Livelock. The trailer focuses on a new character reveal, a machine and human hybrid called Vanguard. In it, we hear some deep philosophical ramblings...all while there's tons of on screen destruction.

Capcom has been doing quite well with its Resident Evil remakes/remasters lately, with the original selling over a million copies and Resident Evil 0 doing well enough. While work on the second title is still underway, Capcom took to YouTube to announce that remakes of Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

What makes a killer - nature or nurture?  If developers Gun Media have their say; a killer is made in the motion capture studio.  The latest behind the scenes video for Friday the 13th is footage showing many of the game's kills being acted out.  Watching one of the original Jason actors covered in balls whilst simulating mayhem is actually pretty disturbing.

Last night the crew checked out Portal Knights, a new game from publisher 505 Games which expands on the ever popular "crafting" genre of games. But Portal Knights does a lot to be different. While you still need to mine and gather raw resource to craft critical items, an RPG element overlaps the entire game giving you and your friends a purpose within the world itself.

Fans of the Halo series may recall a particularly fun horde mode in Halo 3: ODST called "Firefight." Unlike many other games with similar features out there at the time, what made this one so special was the inclusion of the Halo Skull modifiers, which would change things up a bit every five rounds. Folks (ourselves included) have been clamoring for this beloved mode to return, and it looks like we'll finally get our wish soon.

After the successful launch of Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition, developer Techland has announced they will be releasing more content before the year is up. Although there aren't any details on what to expect, I'm sure we will get some fun new ways to obliterate zombies with friends.

Cyborg Rage, a shmup with procedural enemy generation similar to how Left 4 Dead does it, is now available on Steam. After its beta last November, the game cleared Steam Greenlight and is now available for full purchase.

Long before double rainbows were a thing, double dragons were an even bigger thing. The Double Dragon series of sidescrolling arcade beat-em-ups helped popularize the genre with solid co-op kicking and punching action. The effect was even greater when the games made it to consoles. Now, that shift to home systems is repeated some 24 years later with the release of Double Dragon II: The Revenge on PS4.
