Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon is a twin-stick shooter based on the lovably bizarre Adult Swim cartoon. How many other games let you collect demon babies and swap them out at an orphanage?

Perhaps I've been watching too much Doctor Who but the latest trailer for the upcoming three player co-op game, Trine 2, is bloody brilliant.  The video, called Vibes, showcases the gorgeous environments of the game backed by the soundtrack created by Ari Pulkkinen.  It's the kind of video I wouldn't mind running on a loop on a 65" HDTV in my living room.

Team Fortress 2 is arguably one of the most popular games available on Valve's Steam service.  It consistently competes with Counter-Strike for the game with the most active users, has taken on a life of its own with items and microtransactions, and features some pretty amazing personality.  Now the game is getting a retro style beat-em-up/shooter courtesy of Eric Ruth Games called Team Fortress 2 Arcade.  If that name sounds familiar that's because they also created the 8-Bit Left 4 Dead game.

Don't own a copy of Red Dead Redemption yet?  Firstly, why not, its one of the best games this generation.  Secondly, fear not, as Rockstar Games have just announced the release date for the rumored Game of the Year edition; Oct 11th in the US and Oct 14th elsewhere.  The pack will contain the original game as well as all the paid and free DLC. 

Final Fight: Double Impact is on sale this week on Xbox Live Arcade bringing it's normal 800  price down to 400 .  Half the price for double the game!  Not a bad deal for a title we gave a solid 3.5 out of 5 on.

Attention PS3 and PC gamers!  The Call of Duty: Black Ops - Rezurrection DLC map pack will be available on September 22nd.  To celebrate, Treyarch will be hosting a Double XP weekend from the 23rd though the 25th. This will probably be the last Black Ops DLC, what with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 coming out on November 8th.  Remember this, if you don't buy it, someone else will.  So you may as well just go ahead and do it.  

Rich Knuckles is back, this time dishing the dirt on Serious Sam 3: BFE's quad screen co-op.  That sounds great.  Too bad this feature has only been confirmed for the PC.  Serious Sam 3: BFE has yet to set a release date for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but all the gnarly action is set to hit the PC on October 18th.  And by "gnarly" I mean 16 player co-op via online or LAN.  Seriously.

Yet another open-world driving game for this generation, Driver: San Francisco ignores its fierce competition and makes a bootleg turn for its roots. Can an old car perform new stunts?

With so many great games out there's only one thing for Nick and Mike to do...avoid sleeping. While Mike is going through Console and PC withdraw, Nick makes him jealous with tales of Dead Island, Deus Ex and Resistance 3. After that our boys hit up the news and talk about PAX Prime, including the Battlefield 3 community event.

Nintendo held a press conference early this morning in Japan for the Tokyo Game Show.  There weren't too many surprises, but Nintendo did have a lot to announce - including three new co-op games.  Something not on display though, yet still found it's way out - an insanely awkard looking peripheral for the Nintendo 3DS.

In "another reason to recommend Ico and Shadow of the Colossus" news, Ico will support two player local co-op.  The mode will unlock once you finish the game, just like it did in the original western release.  Shadow of the Colossus remains a single player masterpiece.  The Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection features two of the most memorable games from the PlayStation 2 era.  Both titles have been remastered in HD and they'll also support a 3D display.  Do yourself a favor and pick up the bundle when it comes to the PS3 on September 27th.
