We've been just a bit distracted this week, for Spartan-based reasons, so forgive us for the late notice on this one. One of the first co-op games for the Playstation Move, Lord of the Rings Aragorn's Quest, is now available. Wii owners get a port for the original waggle console, as well. The game has been in our crystal ball for quite some time, and we are anxious to hear if it was worth the wait. We've got a behind-the-scenes trailer featuring the authentic voice acting talent for you to check out as well. Any early Move adopters planning on picking this one up? If so, use the box art link above and help support Co-Optimus!
Everybody is doing the Halo Reach now...come on Spartan, do the Halo Reach now. I know you'll get to like it if you play some co-op now - come on Spartan - do the Halo Reach now!

If you are asking yourself "Self, what is EDF 2017?," then you, my friend, have missed out. EDF 2017 is an incredibly addictive 3rd person shooter that came out a few years ago. Hundreds of enemies, including giant bugs, giant robots, giant monsters, and giant space ships crowd the screen. The game offered two player split screen co-op and hours of entertainment. The budget visuals mixed well with weapon collecting to make an addictive shooter.

If you've ever done any behind-the-scenes research on the wildly popular and legendary original Star Wars trilogy, you might know that George Lucas borrowed from many franchises for Star Wars. Pandemic did the same for Star Wars Battlefront, and the result was a die-hard fan named Jim.
In one day Halo Reach generated over $200 Million dollars in revenue. It's unclear if that number include the Reach console bundle, but either way, it's damn impressive. Along with it the game also broke the record for the most unique users on Xbox Live at one time. Though Microsoft didn't give a number, first hand accounts of Bungie's server population showed almost 800,000 people playing Halo Reach on launch day in the early evening.
THQ's latest investor report has pushed Red Faction: Armageddon back from this fall to May of 2011. The delay shouldn't come as much of a surprise to anyone following the title as news has been almost non existent. The game is scheduled to ship with a unique co-op mode outside of the main story, but details on it are still sketchy at best.
This past June we offered up a preview of Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2. Many old school fans of the classic NES game cried foul when a jump ability was announced. The whole point of the original game was the lack of a jump button. That's why developers gave the gamer a handy dandy bionic arm. It's even alluded to in the title.
The original Valkyria Chronicles is one of the finest Strategy RPGs ever made, but can the series survive a platform downgrade and still live up to our expectations? Adding co-op to the mix sure is a good start- read on to find out!
