It seems like just a few weeks ago we were knee deep in Starcraft 2 news, and the launch was just around the corner. In fact, it was just a few weeks ago. Now that the long, long-anticipated title has finally hit store shelves and internet tubes everywhere, the cascade of Starcraft 2 news has died down. Today, though, we have another tiny morsel of SC2 info, straight from Blizzard.
The third downloadable content pack for Red Dead Redemption is riding into town on September 21st, and it's bringing with it a whole caravan of great updates to the popular online Free Roam mode. The list price is $9.99 (US) on the PlayStation Network, and 800 on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
We've got some fresh footage of Gears of War 3's co-op Beast Mode from the Penny-Arcade Expo. Sure it's a little late, and it might be a bit blurry and/or shaky - but it's GEARS man. Continuing the TGS news this morning, Microsoft have announced that the Treasure's classic SHMUP Radiant Silvergun will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade. After Ikaruga's success, we heard rumors that Treasure was considering bringing the game to the platform, the title was originally in the arcades and on the Sega Saturn.
Several new Kinect games were revealed last night during Microsoft's Tokyo Game Show Press Conference and surprisingly none of them involved collecting rings while jumping around. One of the surprise games is an Xbox Live Arcade title by Phantom Dust and Panzer Dragoon game director Yukio Futatsugi. The game is called Project Draco and it looks to be a spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon.
Toronto based developer DrinkBox Studios is working on a new side scrolling platformer: Tales from Space: About A Blob. The game is being developed for download on the PSN.
Just moments ago we suggested that gamers install their copy of Halo Reach to their Xbox 360 hard drive in order to enjoy the game with faster load times. Beware though, 4GB Xbox 360 owners may not be able to play Halo: Reach in co-op at all. According to reports, new Xbox Slim owners are having some issues with playing the co-op at all.

According to Joystiq, installing Halo Reach to your Xbox 360 hard drive will cut your loading times by up to 60% in all of the games modes. If you’re one that loves Halo Reach, but also values the time you spend gaming, you’ll definitely want to consider using a bit of that hard drive space to install your game.
This Week in Co-Op, Nick and I decided to take on a swarm of aliens and save the universe from an invading threat. First, though, we had to determine which swarm of aliens we were taking on: the aliens from Alien Swarm, or the aliens from Alien Breed?
This is one of those announcements that will either get people very excited, or piss a lot of folks off. Dead Rising 2 isn't even on store shelves yet and Capcom has announced the first piece of DLC - one that's actually a stand alone title exclusive to the Xbox 360. Called Dead Rising 2: Case West, much like Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, this downloadable title gives players a small story to play in the Dead Rising universe. Instead of it being a prequel to Dead Rising 2, Case West is actually a sequel, taking place immediately after the events of the game.
If you picked up Halo Reach hoping to two finds two random dudes over the internet to fill in your co-op campaign with Aunt Sally, you'll be sad to know that "playlist" is missing. It was something we noted in our review and something at the time we were told would be there when the game launched yesterday.
