At the start of the week Microsoft launched their Ultimate 360 Sale. Each day has pretty much seen at least one co-op game go on sale and Friday is no exception. Today you get the chance to buy Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for 75%, amongst other single player game discounts.
It's no secret that Total War: Rome II had a pretty rough launch. Creative Assembly has been furiously patching the game to high heaven since the week of its release, and they still aren't done trying to fix all the bugs still plaguing the game. Speaking of bugs, they've decided to just embrace irony at the highest level and put actual, physical bugs in the game itself. Scorpions count as bugs, right?
It seems that gamers will have to wait until April before they can get their tentacles on Octodad: Dadliest Catch for their PS4's. Developer Young Horses announced that their game will be pushed back slightly to finish polishing it for the console version.
Rayman Legends launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this week and with it came a next gen launch trailer. Originally set for February 25, gamers got a surprise when it was announced the title would be coming a week early.
The Xbox One version of Halo:Spartan Assault has received an update. Xbox One players starting up the twin-stick shooter set in the Halo universe will be prompted to download the update. The update is mainly concerned with stability issues and various bugs. There are no new features here, just a presumably improved overall game experience. One issue addressed by the patch that concerns co-op fans fixes Campaign medals showing up in co-op mode. Personally, I keep hoping for a patch to add in local co-op; I'd be all over a twin stick Halo shooter I could play with my kids on one screen.
Indie development studio Indus3 is working on a game that features Asteroids like game play, but updated for the modern era. It features some incredibly slick visuals, co-op game play, and a modern soundtrack while still doing a few other new things that make it its own thing. Coming as no surprise, Atari - who still owns the rights to the Asteroids name, has asked them to rename the upcoming arcade game.

The Guns of Icarus franchise has had a strange relationship with co-op. We first reviewed it way back and found the co-op a little limited. Fast forward to 2014 and Muse Games are only now doing something about it as a new Co-Op Mode Expansion comes to the game.
